Top Lakes To Visit That Are Perfect For Campsites

Lake Sara – Illinois

Lake Sara allows families and friends to camp out, sit back, relax, and enjoy Illinois like never before. Full season campers are welcome and the site itself is spacious. You have the freedom to choose a comfortable spot. In order to ensure that you’ll have a spot, though, it is highly recommended that you make a reservation.

Lake Neshonoc – Wisconsin

Lake Neshonoc in Wisconsin offers family camping at its best. If you go to Neshonoc Lakeside Camping Resort, you will get to enjoy spacious RV sites. They also have two swimming pools, sports fields, and a playground. But the highlight is the lake itself, which is excellent for swimming, kayaking, and fishing.

Lake Manatee – Florida

Located on the south shore of Lake Manatee, the state park campground offers about 60 campsites with water and electric hookups for trailers, RVs, and tents. You can also expect to see primitive or non-modern campsites. The only thing is that none of the campsites are on the waterfront. You don’t have to worry though because they are all walking distance to the swimming and fishing areas.
